Paarl Station, The glory days! 01/01/2010
While browsing the net for information about the former business activities around Paarl Station, I came accross a very informative article written by Marguerite Lombard in The Paarl Post. It can be viewed at: http://www.paarlpost.com/cgib/article?newsid=13108 . From the article, I experience some of the same emotions about this area than the people who were once connected to District Six in Cape Town. I believe this area had a similar make up, but just on a smaller scale with a bit more of a country flavour to it. Former residents of this area have the history of Suider-Paarl locked up in their memories. Please share those memories with us on this page. We would like to hear about the people, their activities and about the buildings. Kindly make mention of the time era that you refer to. Just share anything about Paarl Station and Suider-Paarl with us. Commentsjohan 01/13/2010 22:54:16 Wow - dis fascinating. Baie nostalgies. I am a practicing estate agent and a keen property investor. I believe the Paarl Station area will develop into a sought after residential / business nodus in years to come. ArchivesCategories |
